I have always heard the saying that people on a tight budget must live on instant noodles as that is the cheapest and most viable type of option to go with. As you can see here, I saw some instant noodles on sale at The Real Canadian Superstore tagged at 58 cents each. Sounds very cheap right?
Maybe it’s just because I was born in an Asian family, but this doesn’t seem like a good “cheap” option in the sense that if you need to buy something for under a dollar food wise that this is the route to go with. If you look at some of the food and grocery items I have posted so far look at all the other things you can get for one dollar. Example, if you were starving would you rather have the watermelon or these noodles?
I would personally say here if anything you are paying more for the convenience factor of being able to just pour hot water into the container and be ready to eat it in minutes. You need to think about this stuff if you are on a tight budget.
