Chinese new years is coming up and as a result I noticed supermarkets are stocking up on items that they feel people will want to buy for the occasion. As I was looking for things that are under one dollar, last week I saw these chicken broth that were on sale for 88 cents each. Not too bad, but then again I wasn’t too impressed with the price. So for the most part I held off.
Funny enough, I saw the same items on sale again this week except it is tagged as 77 cents. So it was like a twelve percent savings. While I don’t think it is extraordinarily cheap, it is under one dollar and is a good example of just how much cheaper you can get products for if you wait a little bit. Especially for canned goods like these, they will last awhile where you should stock up when they are cheap.
